Carrie Stenger Divine is a graduate of Union County
High School and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture
from Western Kentucky University. She also holds a Master of Education
in Human Resources from the University of Louisville.
Divine started her career in public service by working
as a Program Coordinator for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture in
Frankfort. She served in this capacity from 1999-2003 when she decided
it was time to return to Union County and give back to the community.
She worked for the Union County School System as the Director of the
JUMP 21st Century Community Learning Center at Morganfield
Elementary and as Coordinator of Adult and Family Education at the
Herron Technology Center. Currently, Carrie is the Workforce
Development Liaison for Henderson Community College where she
coordinates workplace training programs for Union County’s Business and
Industry.
Divine
serves on the Board of Directors for Union County Farm Bureau and is
treasurer of the Union County 4-H Council. She is the past president of
the Morganfield Lions Club
and the Union County Extension Council. She represents Union County on
the Member Resource Committee for Kenergy and has served on several
committees for the Union County Schools and Union County First. Since Divine believes in developing our future leaders, she dedicates many hours working with our youth, including the 4-H and FFA members. She is
a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and has been active in many
community activities.
Carrie Stenger Divine and her husband, Curt, live in rural Morganfield with their two children, Coy and Cailey.
